While Vanuatu’s Citizenship By Investment Program offers a relatively simple, streamlined due diligence process, applicants are nonetheless required to complete an array of application forms and submit extensive supporting documentation.

As of December 2024, you can expect to need the following documents in order to apply for Vanuatu Citizenship under the Vanuatu Development Support Program (additional documentation may be required, based on your country of origin).

Required documentation checklist:

1. A certified copy of your valid passport.
2. A duly completed program nomination form.
3. A duly completed original Vanuatu passport application form.
4. Source of funds declaration (original copy).
5. A certified copy of your ID or driver’s license.
6. A police clearance certificate from your country of origin, as well as from any other country in which you’ve been resident for more than 1 year during the past 10 years.
7. A certified copy of your proof of current residency (visa page, residency permit, etc.)
8. A copy of your resume.
9. A certified copy of your birth certificate.
10. A certified copy of your global asset statement.
11. A certified copy of your academic qualifications.
12. A certified copy of your marriage certificate, if relevant
13. A medical clearance certificate
14. 6 x recent and clear passport photographs – 40mm x 50mm.
